This layout is done with pictures of my son's last swim of the summer last year. By the end of the summer he had gotten brave and started swimming without his floaties and jumping ('diving') off the ladder into the pool.
Items used for this layout:
My Minds Eye Paper: 'Summer Splash 6 x 6'
Tag: My Minds Eye 'On the Bright Side'
Title: Miss Kate Cuttables

Cousins Layout
I made this layout of my son and my niece's baby (his 2nd cousin) when they were playing one day. Cole was so excited that he was going to have a baby cousin and could not wait until he was born.
The banner, the strip behind the pictures, and the washi tape strips are from the silhoutte store. The title 'Cousins' and 'sweet' are both LD fonts. The stamps are by Ali Edwards from Technique Tuesday and I am so excited that I figured out how to make a cut around my stamps using my silhouette. I also added some twine to the banner. The pattern paper is from Echo Park Sweet Day digital paper from Jessica Sprague. I am new to printing my own patterns but think I am gonna love it.

Thanks for looking!

Meeting A Superhero Layout
I am very excited about a new scrapbook challenge site I have found - About a Boy Scrapbook Challenge. Not only is it for scrapbooking but about boys also!!! The majority of my craft time is spent doing layouts of my son so this is perfect for me. Now on to my layout. One day my son and I went to Wal-mart to pickup the new Avengers movie and we saw Captain America signing autographs and getting his picture taken. Cole was very excited about this.
The arrow, tab, stars, and 'super hero' came from the silhouette store. 'Meeting A' is blackjack font. The adorable Captain America is from My Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons, and the star border is from Cricut Holiday Cakes cartridge (as much as I love my silhouette, I do still occasionally use my Cricut). The paper is from the Vintage Nation paper stack from The Paper Studio.
I am entering this in the first challenge at About A Boy Scrapbook which is just introducing your boy you scrapbook about - it just has to have his name on it, either in the title or journaling, etc.

Just the Boys Layout - MME
For this layout I used My Mind's Eye "Good Day Sunshine" collection. The stamps are Technique Tuesday, Kaisercraft, and Close to My Heart. I used vintage photo distress ink to ink the edges of all the papers. The banner is cut out using Artiste cricut cartridge. The giraffe is cut from Noah's ABC cricut cartridge. Celebrate Moments Layout - MME
I made this layout of my son meeting his new cousin for the first time. He was so very excited about getting to hold baby Brayden! I used MME On the Bright Side and On the Sunny Side papers and die cuts. I inked all papers with brown distress ink. The stamps I used on this layout are CTMH "You Are..." and "It's Your Day" and Little Yellow Bicycle "Everyday". I also added some brads and hemp for added dimension. I am entering this layout in My Mind's Eye October Challenge "Incorporate Stamping in Your Project". I love this challenge because I am drawn to buying stamps but very rarely use them and I had fun challenging myself to do this on this layout. I think this is the first layout I have done in quite some time without using one of my electronic die cutters and I love how this one turned out.

Halloween Wall Hanging
Wow, these days I just can't seem to keep up with my blog, but I am still creating which is the most important fun part! Anyway, I finally finished this wall hanging for Halloween that I have been wanting to do. I got the tray at Hobby Lobby. The cuts are from Happy Hauntings (except the black widow spider - I got it in the Silhouette store) and the paper is from The Bewitched Stack by DCWV. I also used some stickles and my cuttlebug for added dimension. I am entering this in the SOUS Creepy Crawly Friday Die Cut Challenge. TFL!!

Hip-Hip-Hooray Its Your Birthday Card
Once again I used the amazing Artiste cricut cartridge from CTMH. For this card I cut the card base (pg 52) at 5-1/2", the banner (pg 66) at 3/4", and the balloon (pg 70) at 1-3/4". I also used the stamps that coordinated with the balloon and banner that comes in the bundle. I added a little twine for my balloon string, inked the edges wiht CTMH outdoor denim ink (also used for the stamping). The 'it's your birthday' stamp is from CTMH Life is Tweet SOTM for June. The paper is from Echo Park A Boy's Life paper pack. And voila, I have a super cute 'guy' birthday card.
It is hard to tell from my picture (I always have a hard time with pictures of cards) but the cover of the card folds back in half and the banner is cut out of it (make sense!?!).
